Dan Graber is the music director responsible for arranging and directing the Bethel College Concert Choir’s haunting rendition of “Through the Desert Goes Our Journey.” He was featured today in the Argus Leader, the newspaper in Sioux Falls, SD.

During his own research into the Great Trek, Graber found himself struck by how well the group of Mennonites and the Muslims who lived at Khiva got along.“They lived together, they farmed together, they shared the same worship space,” Graber says. “It was an incredibly positive experience, a positive Muslim-Christian interaction.”
